Origin

After Diamond, SoulSilver was the second Pokémon adventure that I ever went on. Fortunately, I still have my original SoulSilver (and its Pokéwalker!), but after leaving the file untouched for so long, I decided to preserve it as a memorial to 11-year-old me. But I still wanted to replay the game, so I reset over my brother's HeartGold after moving his team and any nicknamed Pokémon over to my SoulSilver (this is also where his original Diamond team now lives). I don't have to feel too bad about resetting over his files, as he never made much progress in them, I think he just wanted the game because I did XD I started my new file at the same time as Sephiria and J so we could race to a shiny starter. I lost within a few weeks; but several months, 10,000+ resets (30,000+ seen), and ~90+ hours later, I was able to start my game!

Emberic			Moonlight
	Quilava ♂ Quirky Likes to relax. Ribbons: x/48 (evs) ★	I would have been happy with any starter, but I was especially happy to get a shiny Cyndaquil, because Cyndaquil was my starter in my original SoulSilver! Named in honor of the OG. He took so long to find me because he was off taking a nap somewhere.		Butterfree ♂ Bold Somewhat vain. Ribbons: x/48 (evs) ★	Named for a Butterfree I have in my original file. I just like the name ^^ He and Cotton preen together.

Zack			Cotton
	Raichu ♂ Bashful Sturdy body. Ribbons: x/48 (evs) ★	The 1st Class Pokémon of this file :) Caught in the Yellow Forest on the Pokéwalker (at the mall) after randomly obtaining the event from a fanserver. Has set many a record in the Pokéathlon!		Eevee ♂ Jolly Somewhat vain. Ribbons: x/48 (evs) ♥ ★	He lived in my Diamond file for a while, playing on DESTINY beach with Leon. He exists in real life in giant fluffy plushie form ♡

Empyrean			Kai
	Togetic ♂ Hasty Likes to thrash about. Ribbons: x/48 (evs) ★	I had a Togetic in my original file, but never got the Shiny Stone. Really looking forward to having a Togekiss on my team, as it's one of my favorite Pokémon :D He is very well-intentioned and cute but a little overzealous.		Growlithe ♀ Rash Capable of taking hits. Ribbons: x/48 (evs) ♥ ★	She is a real life Build-a-Bear from a very special place!!! Sephi hatched me her in-game after making the plushie for me ♡

Moonlight

I wasn't sure whether or not I was going to be adding Moonlight to the team, but his first attack of his first battle was a crit against a Ratatta at 1 level higher (which is a lot for the first few routes). Then a few turns later, he got another. I decided to let him join the team since he was trying so hard to prove himself >< His name is also fitting because it was very late at night but I time travelled to the morning to catch him as a Caterpie.

He evolved in the Ilex Forest under the moon after showing the lady the way out.

Cotton

"Cotton is staring intently at the sea..." Evolved just west of Olivine at the start of summer. "Your Pokémon is playing around and splashing in the water!"

Learned Aura Beam in the middle of fighting Claire for the 20th time (I struggled with her). He got KO'd the next turn, I imagine it all dramatic: in the heat of battle, he was pushed into a corner and learned a critical move out of desperation. It still took a few more tries after that, but Ice Beam was instrumental to our victory.

Empyrean

Evolved into Togetic immediately after getting a Horn Drill from Metronome (rip random hiker's Dugtrio).
